Sam’s had his share of heartbreak – as Lydia finds out when he admits he helped his cancer-stricken wife Alice to die.
While Lydia might understand his decision, Sam is terrified that Samson will discover the truth, and that his young son won’t be able to understand what he did for his mum.
Meanwhile, after last week’s failure, Liv and Chas come up with another scheme to help Aaron propose to Robert.

After learning that he’s been carrying a knife, worried Shona asks Billy to follow David, who he then sees getting into a stranger’s car.
As the vicar quizzes him, David admits he’s been watching Josh to make sure he doesn’t attack anyone else.
Billy then warns the man he saw with Josh exactly who he is and what he’s done. Next thing, Josh has been beaten to a pulp.

It’s Hope’s christening, but given it’s a Slater family shindig, things clearly aren’t going to go smoothly. And let’s face it, things couldn’t be rougher than Hayley having to stand in as substitute godmother when Kat goes AWOL.
Missing her kids, she’s thrilled to get a phone call from Tommy who has rung behind dad Alfie’s back. But Kat’s not the only one doubting her ability to be a mum – Hayley finally admits to Jean that she’s pregnant.
