I’ll help my Dani make a fortune
LOVE ISLAND EXCLUSIVE
DANNY Dyer is urging his Love Island winning daughter Dani “don’t be a double act” as he guides her into a new TV career.
The Eastenders actor will meet Dani and telly boyfriend Jack Fincham when he returns from holiday this week – following the couple’s victory in the ITV show last night.
A source close to the family said: “Dani and Jack have a lot of offers, but Danny has been in TV his whole life and he will make sure
Dani gets the best she can get.
“He thinks they need to pursue their own careers and that working as a double act is setting them up to fail.”
Danny, 41, said yesterday it would be a “f***ing travesty” if they did not win.
And he told the
Mirror that he was aware of a string of big money-spinning TV deals. He said: “There are going to be some very exciting projects coming up for her.”
Dani, 22, and Jack, 26, have been offered an ITV2 spin-off show which will follow their romance following the end of Love Island. But Danny said: “They have to live their own lives, I don’t think they should come out as a double act.
“They are a double act, but it hasn’t lasted too well for previous contestants to go, ‘Oh let’s be a double act’. They haven’t lasted four months, have they? “You’ve got to concentrate individually on their own careers and hope the relationship follows with them.”
One TV source: “Dani is such a warm character and she would be great presenting her own show. “She’s got the confidence and is laid back with people.” Pen maker Jack has 1.4 million Instagram followers – going from an unknown Essex lad to a TV favourite in two months.
Dani and Jack saw off Kaz Crossley and Josh Denzel, Laura Anderson and Paul Knops and Wes Nelson and Megan Barton Hanson to claim the £50,000 prize.
