12MATCH RICHHILL UP AND RUNNING IN STYLE
DAILY MIRROR IT took Richhill AFC until the start of January to pick up their first league win last season but this time around they’re off to a flying start.
Marty Rice’s side were impressive in dispatching Tandragee Rovers by three clear goals at the Rec on Saturday.
Wright, Quinn and Rice were the men on the scoresheet for the Villagers with a result which puts Rovers on to the back foot straight away.
Elsewhere, there were 1-0 wins for Windmill Stars and Fivemiletown United while Hanover were held to a 1-1 draw by Banbridge Rangers.
There were no such concerns for Moneyslane who put six past their hosts Ballymacash – hat-tricks for Johnny Kernaghan and Jonny Black.
On Friday night, Valley Rangers won 4-1 on their visit to St Mary’s.
This evening, Slane will look to build on that win when they welcome Banbridge Rangers while Richhill host Bourneview Mill and Laurelvale face Hanover.
Ballymacash are at home to Crewe with Fivemiletown at St Mary’s, Tandragee hosting AFC Silverwood and Windmill at Valley.
There are just two league games planned for this Saturday – Slane at Bourneview and Windmill going to Ballymacash.
That’s because of four Premier Cup ties planned – Banbridge Rangers against Richhill, Laurelvale at home to Hanover, AFC Silverwood at St Mary’s and Tandragee hosting Valley. 07.08.2018
