The line up is on point – mostly reliable locals to the point having Marsicans – an indie-pop four piece from Leeds – feels unnecessar­y. Not that we’re complainin­g. There’s attention to detail with regards to the food and drink also – the obligatory craft beers and a bunch of local food vendors.

Tickets start at £12.50 for Friday only and go up to £35 for the full weekend. No camping.

While they’re based in London we know Rews as a vehicle for the talents of Maghaerafe­lt singer Shauna Tohill. Alongside her pal Colette Williams on drums they were described accurately – albeit lazily – by Mark Radcliffe as a “female Royal Blood”.

Fans of Childish Gambino, Kendrick Lamar and the like – any quality hip hop or rap, basically – need Jordan Adetunji on their radar. Belfast based hip hop has, believe it or not, always been a thing though Jordan is surely on the brink of proper stardom.
