SHE’S ALWAYS CHEATING ON ME

I’ve been with my girlfriend for two years now and the problem I’ve got is that she’s cheated on me several times since we got together.

The first time it happened she claimed she was drunk. It was quite near the start of our relationship, so I gave her the benefit of the doubt and forgave her, and decided to move on from it.

However, she did it again about six months later – and I forgave her.

Now a mutual friend has told me she saw her in a bar looking pretty intimate with a guy.

I feel I’ve tried really hard at this relationship and I love her, but I can’t carry on like this.

I’ve never cheated on her, but it seems she’s incapable of being faithful to me.

Coleen says

I think it’s clear that she’s not committed to you and either loves the thrill of an affair or she’s keeping you around while she scouts around for potential boyfriends.

Whatever the reason, she doesn’t respect you, she’s not serious about your relationship and I don’t think she’s ready to make a proper commitment. Personally, I wouldn’t waste another two years on this person. If she’s cheated several times already, the prospects don’t look very good for a longterm relationship.

Don’t choose a life of unhappiness with a partner you can’t trust. You deserve better, so give yourself the opportunity to find someone who returns your love and respect.
