Alert after speed cut to 20mph at schools
SPEED limits outside a number of rural schools are to be cut to 20mph, it was revealed yesterday.

“This will be for a distance of 400 to 500 metres along adjacent roads in the vicinity of each school and will be enforceable by the PSNI.
“Motorists should be aware of, and adhere to, the new arrangements in the vicinity of these schools.”
The routes affected include: Carrickmannon Road, Ballygowan, Co Down, adjacent to Carrickmannon Primary School
Finvoy Road, Ballymoney, Co Antrim, beside Carrowreagh Primary
