APPRENTICE candidate Camilla Ainsworth says having the perfect Instagram body nearly made her ill.

The 22-year-old worked out three times a day and barely ate as she posted scores of photos of herself in skimpy clothes.

Thankfully she saw sense before developing an eating problem – and is now happy to have a few healthy curves.

The Manchester University candidate, who runs her own nut milk brand, told of her previous regime.

She said: “Three cardio classes per day, unhappy and obsessed with unhealthy diets. Looking back I was definitely on the verge of a problem, I thought a tin of sweetcorn was an adequate meal.”

Posting a photo of herself in 2016 and another from last month, she told how she took the pressure off herself and is happier now. “Two stone heavier, very relaxed gym schedule, lots of chocolate croissants, embracing the curves.”

In her Apprentice biography she says: “I’m a bundle of energy and creativity... ain’t no Vanilla Camilla”.

This year’s line-up has eight women and eight men with backgrounds including IT, fashion design, law and tree surgery, all fighting for a £250,000 investment and the chance to have Lord Sugar as a business partner.

The candidates are thrown in at the deep end with a trip to Malta – but are warned they will not be there to enjoy the sunshine. Also this series they will be tasked with launching a budget airline.

Lord Sugar will again be joined by aides Baroness Karren Brady and Claude Littner as the new series starts on Wednesday at 9pm on BBC1, followed by You’re Fired at 10pm on BBC2.

A PUB landlord who attacked a designated driver for failing to buy a drink has been fined £1,000.

Gerard Kelly, 51, of the Earl Grey in St Aubin, Jersey, dragged the man towards the exit after telling him “get a f***ing drink or get the f*** out”.

He admitted the assault.
