As Holly Willoughby continues to bask in the glory of I’m A Celebrity, I can’t help feeling sorry for poor old Pip Schofield.

Holly gets three weeks of sunshine Down Under with her kids and all she has to do in return is show up to laugh at Dec’s jokes for an hour a day.

Meanwhile, Pip is stuck on the This Morning sofa manfully trying to make his agent’s Rochelle Humes project work.

He’s also hosting a glorified gift guide on Tuesday nights while the jungle is on. So last night he was essentially Holly’s warm-up man.

Still, before Holly gets too big for her boots (Topshop, £92.00) she needs to ask herself one question: Did I cause this year’s must-have family game to sell out in the UK?

Pip did. He featured The Sock Game last Tuesday and by Thursday it was going for four times the RRP on ebay.

Of last night’s offerings I’d say the dog selfie ball holder – it clamps a tennis ball to your phone for your dog to stare at while you take a snap – has the best chance of repeating that success.

One, because it’s relatively cheap. And two, it’s exactly the kind of unnecessary accessory Britain’s dog owners go crazy for.

It’s not really a selfie though is it? Unless your dog can switch on your phone and press the button with its paw.

And if your dog can do that, I suggest you enter it into Britain’s Got Talent ASAP and let its winnings take care of your Christmas bill next year.
