Prince George, Princess Charlotte and eight-month-old Prince Louis, who undoubtedly steals the show on his debut.

Three-year-old Charlotte stands on the trunk with her arms around her parents’ shoulders, while George playfully balances on one leg, in the pic taken at their country home, Anmer Hall, in Norfolk.

Charlotte also appears to have been bequeathed a £48 Fina Ejerique navy blue

A Body-language expert has studied the cards to reveal their deeper meaning.

Judi James said of Harry and Meghan’s: “It could be an ad for a luxury brand, with the formally dressed couple lost in their intimate moment… By turning their backs to the camera, they allow us to share their moment, but not their company.

“It implies they’re in that stage of love where they only have eyes for one cardigan that George, five, wore in a family portrait released to celebrate his grandmother the Queen’s 90th birthday in 2016.

And Louis is sporting navy shoes his big brother wore during a visit to Taronga Zoo in Sydney, Australia, back in 2014.

In the Sussexes’ pic, Meghan’s iconic halter neck Stella Mccartney gown, which cost £60,000, couldn’t be more different to Kate’s comfy yet stylish knitwear. Both the

another.” Looking at the Cambridges, Judi said: “Everything about this card has been chosen to present a relaxed, casual, happy and informal feel to this tight family group.

“William and Kate also look direct to camera, making it a very inclusive pose… we are being asked to share the fun.”

Judi added it was designed to show the opposite of the tension between William’s own parents before they split. Cambridges and Sussexes consulted at length with their photographers, Matt Porteous and Chris Allerton respectively, before choosing their preferred snaps.

A royal source said: “Here we have two very different depictions of where those individuals are in their lives.

“The Hollywood glamour with which they have surrounded themselves oozes from the Sussexes, while the Cambridges’ is a wholesome family portrait.”

Both cards were released yesterday, along with one from the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall, in which the couple are pictured on a bench in their Clarence House garden in London.

In the image, taken by Hugo Burnand, the duchess is wearing a cream dress by Fiona Clare. The heir to the throne is wearing an Anderson and Sheppard suit.
