Doctor in ‘state of shock’ as she recovers from assault injuries
APPRENTICE star Leah Totton has been injured in an attack at a lavish wedding, it emerged yesterday.
The 30-year-old suffered bruising in an assault at a Co Cavan venue.
It is understood a man well known to the doctor was removed by police.
A source said: “Leah is in a state of shock and recovering from her injuries.”

APPRENTICE winner Leah Totton is recovering after a shocking assault at a wedding on Saturday.
Gardai were called to the Co Cavan venue following reports of an attack on a 30-yearold woman.
The young doctor from Derry has since been treated for injuries and shock.
A man believed to be well known to Leah was removed from the scene by officers.
A source close to the doctor and businesswoman said: “Leah is in a state of shock and recovering from her injuries.”
She had been attending the five-star Saturday wedding with her fiance.
The successful entrepreneur spent Christmas Day with loved ones nursing bruises following an alleged incident.
The source added: “Poor Leah was assaulted and injured and left sore and very, very shocked.
“It was horrendous for poor Leah who conducted herself with dignity throughout the whole situation and it was dreadful for the newly-married couple to have had anything like that happen on their wedding day.”
Leah announced her engagement in early October with a picture of her stunning diamond engagement ring on Twitter.

She said: “I am genuinely delighted to share the news that I am engaged! My fiance is the most amazing man on the planet, I am beyond grateful to have him in my life and so excited to become his wife!”
Leah used her investment award from Lord Sugar’s The Apprentice TV show to open a string of cosmetic surgery clinics.
She split from her Apprentice co-star Mark Wright in 2016.
Lord Sugar invested £250,000 in 2013 after she won series nine aged 24 with a business plan to open a string of drop-in cosmetic surgery centres in London.
And just last week she revealed big plans for her already burgeoning company.
She told followers on Facebook: “Lord Sugar and I will be doubling the size of Dr Leah Clinics in 2019.
A source said: “Leah is a fantastic young woman, a true friend, a talented and compassionate professional and a brilliant example to other women.
“No woman should ever experience what she did on Saturday but she’ll come through this. We feel very proud of her and support her fully.”
A spokesperson for Leah said: “We have no comment to make at this time.”
