Gay escort: No sex for a year turned me straight

He wants to lose virginity with a woman

AN ex-escort who claims to have slept with up to 150 different men says going sex-free for a year has turned him straight.

Dominic Hilton, 27, says he has always been “110% gay” since coming out aged 14. But after going celibate for a year following a break-up, he now believes he is straight and says he is determined to lose his virginity to a woman.

The model and mental health worker said: “This past year, that sexual attraction to men has just gone.

“It was a gradual thing – not like someone flicked a switch and I was straight – but now I am actively seeking a girl to settle down with.

“If you’d have asked me in the past if a person can change their sexuality, I’d have said no – but I’m living proof that you can. I’ve had sex with men, but not women, so want to find an openminded girl I can lose my virginity to.”

Mr Hilton, who has never had a female partner, worked as a male escort for a year when aged 18.

His split from his boyfriend of two years on Christmas Day, 2017, spurred him on to make a resolution to spend 2018 being celibate. He noticed he was becoming more interested in women until, at the end of last year, he realised he wasn’t attracted to men any more.

He said: “My male friend and I were on holiday in Alicante, Spain, in October, and where I’d usually be chatting about guys we could see and if I thought they were attractive, I just couldn’t join in.

“Then my friend turned to me and said, ‘you really are straight, aren’t you?’

“I’d been wondering if perhaps I was bisexual... but now, I just don’t find men attractive any more.”

He added: “Telling everyone I was straight was like coming out all over again, but my loved ones were supportive and just want me to be happy.”

Now, Mr Hilton, of Bournemouth, Dorset, said his dress sense and mannerisms have changed. He said: “Growing up, I loved dressing in make-up like Boy George, These days, I’m always in tracksuits.”

He added: “A lot of people don’t understand it and think I am gay, that this is a phase. I have no doubt that I am straight, though.”
