- BY DARREN LEWIS

The star-studded French champions have the 26-year-old (above) on their shortlist as they hunt for a holding midfielder.

Javi Gracia (right), however, has ruled out selling Doucoure this month. But the player has insisted that while he is “happy to evolve” at Vicarage Road he is still keen to play alongside the likes of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe in Paris.

The former France Under-21 star said: “PSG holds an important place in my heart. They already contacted me, but I wanted to move to England at the time. Hearing that such clubs are interested in you, it’s a pleasure.

“A club like PSG are looking for a lot of players, they have a lot of leads, I’m not the only one,” added Doucoure, who arrived in England from French side Rennes three years ago.

“I’m happy to evolve at Watford and the club trusts me.”

Watford striker Stefano Okaka (above) has joined Udinese on loan until the end of the season.

The 29-year-old Italian has made just three appearances in what has been a frustrating season.
