- BY DARREN FULLERTON

DAVID JEFFREY has ordered BALLYMENA UNITED to “move on” quickly from a midweek defeat to Linfield in the semi-finals of the County Antrim Shield.

The Braidmen, who lie a point off the league summit, have now lost two of their last three outings after enjoying a 19-game unbeaten streak before the New Year.

Jeffrey, who has striker Adam Lecky back from suspension for today’s visit of DUNGANNON SWIFTS, said: “We dust ourselves down and move on.

“The last time we played Dungannon it was one of Kris Lindsay’s first games in charge and they drew 1-1 here at the Showgrounds.

“We could and should have won comfortably if we had taken our chances, but we didn’t.

“Dungannon are coming off the back of a great run of form – they won at Cliftonville in the Irish Cup last week and also won their last league game at Glentoran. That’s highly impressive, so we are preparing for another massive test.”

COLERAINE – who lie four points below them in the table – seeking their first league win in a month.
