Social media photo craze shows how celebs have changed in a decade... or not
Kate Hudson cannot resist looking over her shoulder by sharing a snap from a decade ago. The actress, 39, is among stars joining in the 10-Year Challenge, which has taken social media by storm.
The craze caught on from Facebook, which will post your old photos – some of which you might be glad to see and others you might rather forget – on your profile.
Here, we take a look at the difference a decade can make in the world of showbiz… The Queen of Pop and mum of six has fought a battle against ageing and, going by these pics, it looks as though she’s winning. She hardly looks a day older than in 2009 – a year after divorcing director Guy Ritchie. Phil was a silver fox even then, while Holly’s hair looks a shade or two darker. It was the year she joined the telly veteran to co-host This Morning and, according to execs, time seems to have stood still. This Morning tweets: “They haven’t changed a bit! #10yearchallenge” A lot has changed since Vicky gave up working in telesales to star in Geordie Shore and win I’m A Celeb – and not just the look. She writes: “I have nothing else to say, I’m just going to leave this here.” A decade ago the footballer was married to Louise and clean shaven. Since then he has split from her and grown a beard. He has also improved his fashion sense. Referring to the lilac suit he wore in 2009, he says: “A little purple number... what was I thinking?” She hits the half-century this summer and looks great, so J-LO was happy to share these snaps. A decade ago she was pregnant with twins Maximilian David and Emme Maribel. But at 49 shestill has a natural glow. She hasn’t exactly let nature take its course. But Katie looks pretty good 10 years on – and she has been through a fair bit too. The mum-of-five divorced Peter Andre in 2009 and has since divorced MMA fighter Alex Reid and split from third hub Keiran Hayler.
