City lead So fragile

-

WOMEN’S Super League leaders Manchester City let slip a two-goal lead as Chelsea fought back to earn a point in a 2-2 draw.

First-half goals from Tessa Wullaert and Georgia Stanway looked like helping City extend their lead to four points over secondplaced Arsenal, who have two games in hand.

But Chelsea’s Ji So-yun struck twice in the second half, with her second goal coming in the 89th minute.

City are two points clear of Arsenal, who did not play yesterday, while defending champions Chelsea sit third – six points behind the leaders with little hope of retaining their title.
