Jail for speed cam jammer

A MAN has been jailed for using a jamming device on his BMW to block police speed cameras.

Michael Twizell, 58, was spotted by officers on the A658 in his BMW 3-series, but their speed gun recorded an error code.

They found the device in the car’s front grille.

Retired Twizell, of Dewsbury, West Yorks, pleaded guilty to perverting the course of justice yesterday.

He was jailed for three months and fined £1,500 at York crown court.
