Stacey’s baby ties family together
Couple share news of pregnancy joy
STACEY Solomon and boyfriend Joe Swash have revealed they are expecting their first baby together.
Loose Women star Stacey, 29, who has two children, Zachary, 10, and Leighton, six, from previous relationships, posted the scan on Instagram.
Presenter Joe, 37, who has an 11-yearold son, Harry, said he believed the new baby would unite their two families.
Appearing with Stacey on ITV’S Loose Women yesterday, the ex-eastenders actor said: “We’ve both got children, two different lives going on sometimes, so this child is going to tie up the family.
“We look after them now and they can look after us later.”
Stacey said: “We felt it was important to keep it to ourselves until we felt really safe. We had to let our family and chil- dren know and then, even though you know it’s the right time, you think, ‘I do want it to be just us for a while longer’.”
The couple met through I’m A Celebrity when Stacey was a guest on the spin-off show, which Joe presented.
Joe announced the pregnancy on Instagram, posting a snap of Stacey sleeping, with the message: “Have been driving myself mad thinking she’s bored senseless of me... so you can imagine my delight to find out that she still loves me and my company very much she’s just been growing a baby.”
He added: “We’ve been so blessed with three incredible children that we’ve had the privilege of raising and we are forever grateful to have the chance to become parents to another wonderful child.”
