MOORE: ATT’S THE WAY I DO IT

- BY DAVE ARMITAGE

WEST BROM boss Darren Moore has revealed how TV wildlife expert David Attenborough is helping his promotion push.

Moore said: “This division is relentless so you don’t get much time to relax, you really don’t. The games come thick and fast so when I do get time off I like to watch wildlife programmes.

“If I was marooned on a desert island I’d definitely like him to be my companion. It’s my way of relaxing.”

The Baggies won’t be able to relax in their promotion test tonight, with Leeds having a point to prove against the Championship’s best away side. Leeds were thumped 4-1 at the Hawthorns back in November and will be desperate to get even, but West Brom have won eight of their last nine league games on the road.

Moore (left) said:

“This should be a pulsating game with both teams going head-to-head.

“We’re looking forward to it. Leeds are an aggressive team, full of flair and a very experienced top manager.

“We got a great result against them here at the Hawthorns but we are going to have to be either equal or even better than that to get what we want. We will have to be at our best.”

West Brom players have personally chipped in to pay for the 20 coaches taking their supporters to Yorkshire.

Moore added: “It’s a great gesture and shows commitment from the players and how much they appreciate the time, effort and cost that supporters undertake to follow us.”
