Hard work of the past is bringing its just rewards. People are now starting to appreciate your talents and you will be given a chance to show others what you can really do when left to your own devices. It will be a relief when a bossy friend or colleague doesn’t try to interfere.

Friends will do whatever they can to please you but sometimes you can’t depend on others to make you happy. Your boredom threshold is quite low and if you look to your closest relationships for some excitement, there will be no joy there either. It is time to create your own happiness.

Gemini May 22 –June 21

You have an irresistible temptation to splash out on entertaining friends. Nothing will give you greater pleasure than organising a big get-together. Much to your delight a party or special celebration will be more fun than anyone expected. Getting to the bottom of a mystery will be exciting.

Cancer June 22 –July 23

You’ve been doing a lot of thinking and you realise that to move forward you need to push certain aspects of the past behind you. A supportive partner will help you let go of hang-ups that could put a damper on your future progress. They will always be there if you need someone to talk to.

Leo July 24 – August 23

The time you are devoting to helping a youngster cope with their problems will also help bring them out of themselves. Mutual interests are the way to weave a deeper bond in a new relationship. When you share similar goals there is less likelihood of there being power struggles.

You want to establish new rules at the same time as your partner is thinking about making changes. This isn’t the best time for new beginnings within the family. If these can’t be avoided, be patient when teething problems do occur. There will be a few disappointments before you settle into new routines.

You will be asked to help someone with a situation they can’t handle. Because of the way they approach you, you will feel obliged to lend a hand, even though this prevents you from getting on with jobs you had intended to do. A relative’s unfair demands are starting to frustrate you.

You’ve been too honest and open with someone who is not the person you once thought they were. They are now starting to use what they know about you to their advantage. You might wish you hadn’t been so trusting but you let emotion get in the way of making good choices.

A close friend is looking for a shoulder to cry on. They find it easy to confide in you because they know what they say won’t go any further. A neighbour is hoping you’ll do them a favour and between one thing and another, there won’t be much chance to do what you really want to do.

Once you have voiced your ideas, give other people a chance to consider them. It may take them some time to make their minds up. You might sense some hostility in someone who often opposes your plans. Leave it to others who do support you to persuade them of the value of your contributions.

Aquarius Jan 21 – Feb 19

Be careful about accepting a friend of a friend’s proposal. There could be some strings attached. It is possible this person has charmed your friend into going along with their ideas but you’re the one who can see a risky deal for what it is. Try playing your cards close to your chest.

A colleague will be trying to persuade you to cut some corners in order to gain something you both want. Refuse to let them influence you no matter how persuasive they happen to be. Speak up if you disagree with a plan. In all areas of life, you should play the game by the rules.
