Paddy’s wife slams sexist trolls

- BY KELLY ALLEN

CHRISTINE Mcguinness has hit back at sexist trolls who blasted her for working out at the gym.

The mum of three, who is married to TV host Paddy Mcguinness, moaned about a lack of equality after she was blasted for going to the gym and not looking after her children.

The 31-year-old took to Instagram saying she had left the house for a 45-minute workout while the kids had been at school.

She called out the double standards that her husband, Paddy is allowed to do whatever he wants – spending barely any time at home with his family because he is always working so hard.

The Real Housewives Of Cheshire star wrote: “My husband has been home five times in the last 30 days, he is a busy, hard working man, but no one ever asks him who is looking after his children... (me of course).

“I go the gym for 45 minutes whilst they’re at school and get questioned on who is looking after my children!” Christine and Paddy are parents to twins Penelope and Leo, five, who both have autism. She also revealed their daughter Felicity, three, has been showing signs of having the condition. The reality star admitted that since Paddy, 45, landed roles on Top Gear and Celebrity Juice, he had hardly been home leaving her feeling like a “single parent” because of his frantic schedule. She said: “I would be lying if I said it’s great. At the moment I barely see him. It is getting to the point where I feel it is overwhelming and too much.” Christine said she considers her gym sessions, which take place three times a week, after she has dropped her children off at school, to be like “therapy”. She said: “My little bit of gym time keeps me sane. I wish I could go every day because I find it’s so good mentally.”
