Meghan’s tribute for Harry

PRINCE Harry gazes adoringly at son Archie in a new christening photo released by wife Meghan in a moving 35th birthday tribute yesterday.

The Duchess of Sussex heaped praise on her prince as a devoted family man, dedicated royal and a passionate campaigner.

Meghan, 38, wrote: “Your service to the causes you care so deeply for inspires me every day.

“You are the best husband and most amazing dad to our son. We love you. Happiest birthday!”

Her touching message on their Sussexroyal Instagram page included snaps showing Harry as a baby in mum Princess Diana’s arms, as a toddler, and as a teenager with brother William.

In others the former soldier is seen in military uniform, or carrying out his royal duties.

The final two photos are from the couple’s 2018 wedding and Archie’s July christening at Windsor Castle. The new black-andwhite shot shows Archie Harrison Mountbattenwindsor being cradled by smiling Meghan in his christening gown, with Harry bending to gently embrace him

The Sussexes have so far shielded Archie from the spotlight and have released only a limited number of photos from his private July christening. But they are due to take him with them for their royal tour of Africa next week.

They will touch down in Cape Town next Monday to launch the 10-day trip taking in South Africa, Malawi, Botswana and Angola.

In Angola Harry will see the legacy of mum Diana’s campaign to rid the region of landmines.
