Take That! Robbie’s up for boxing Liam

-

“A hundred grand of your money, a hundred grand of my money – we’ll get in the ring, we’ll have a fight.”

That was how Robbie

Williams invited Liam Gallagher to sort out their differences in a boxing match, while accepting a Brit Award in 2000.

Now, almost 20 years later, he’s even keener to make it happen.

Robbie, who has a “long f***ing list” of enemies that includes Liam, thinks they could produce a moneyspinner after two feuding Youtube stars KSI and Logan Paul clocked over a million pay-per-view sales for a boxing match last year.

“I think we could trounce that,” Robbie says. “I’d want it to be a professional fight. In the noughties, Liam wanted to go down to an abandoned railway track or something.

“I don’t want to do that. It’s got to be f***ing whistles and bells if it happens.” Rob is in “good nick”, he says, adding he has been “boxing and sparring” already.

“Let’s just say I’d be more than happy to get in the ring with him.

More than happy. Let’s be having you. And obviously I’d win. He’d go down in the third round I reckon.

“And we’d have to get a proper licence as we don’t want to be wearing any head protection. Knock out. Third round. Nighty night. Yep.”

Meanwhile, Robbie tells GQ Hype that Zayn Malik’s reps asked him to give the former One Direction star a call “to help him out” when he quit the group. Rob admits: “I was thinking, ‘Help? But I’m f***ed too.’

“I didn’t want to phone the kid and tell him there’s no hope. You don’t want me on that phone call.”
