NEVER mind the far-reaching, complicated implications of these incredibly important pictures – first off, let’s just take them entirely at face value.

The woman holds an award in a manner which can only be described as bouquet-ish. I mean, these are basically wedding photos, right?!

This Brannifer – as no one ever called them, because they split up before the portmanteau celebrity name became a thing – reunion is what Jennifer Aniston fans have been waiting for since 2005.

SIGNIFICANCE

In those 15 – 15! – years, we’ve grown older and wiser, we’ve evolved as human beings, we’ve gained greater understanding of what it means to have a successful relationship and yet, still, none of us has ever got over Brad leaving Jen. Jen herself has moved past it – she’s said so countless times, she even married someone else – but for some reason, we, the little people who have absolutely nothing to do with this, cannot.

And so let us rejoice at these photographs of Brad and Jen together at the Screen Actors Guild awards in LA on Sunday night, and afford them much more significance than they probably deserve.

Although there is one thing that is undeniable – Jen moved away first, leaving Brad behind her, still gripping her wrist. If only he’d hung on to her that tightly the first time, eh? Sigh.
