He said: “A bit of momentum goes a long way and we hope this can be a turning point and we can start moving upwards. We knew that if we kept playing well it would turn. “We have drawn far too many games and if we could have turned those draws into wins then we’d have been a lot higher up the table.

“Where we are in the table doesn’t reflect how we have played in some games and I don’t think it’s a true position. It is massive to move out of the relegation zone. No player likes being in there.

“We are creating a lot of chances and I feel like we are more solid at the back. We enjoy winning and we want this feeling next week, and the week after.“
