Ulster Bank has introduced a new digital platform for SMES to enable customers to take card payments anytime and anywhere. Tyl is a merchant acquiring and payments solution which gives customers a terminal to take payments in person as well as access to a platform for processing online transactions. The bank is waiving fees for Tyl for the rest of this year.
FOLLOWING Boris Johnson’s address and the publishing of his “roadmap” to gradually ease Covid19 restrictions, businesses are thinking about how and when they can safely re-open their doors.
However, before they do so, the country’s largest independent security and facilities management company, has warned that premises should be cleaned, disinfected and sanitised.
Lisburn-based Mercury Security & Facilities Management, which provides a specialised deep cleaning service designed to eliminate Covid–19, is also urging companies not to leave it too late to book their deep clean, or they could face a further wait before returning to action.

“On Sunday, Boris Johnson paved the way for staff who cannot do their jobs at home to return to work, highlighting the manufacturing and construction industries as examples.
“This will be followed very carefully and gradually by the re-opening of shops, schools, offices, restaurants and many more besides.
