A MUM made a desperate plea for help yesterday as volunteers flocked to join the search for a missing schoolboy.

Noah Donohoe, 14, left his South Belfast home on Sunday at around 5.30pm. He was last seen 40 minutes later in the north of the city in a state of undress.

In an emotional appeal for his safe return, heartbroken mother

Fiona asked the public to check their homes for her baby boy.

She said: “I am begging people do this. If you knew my Noah, he was the most thoughtful, loving darling who does not deserve to be suffering or unfound.”

THE mother of a missing schoolboy has issued a heartbreaking appeal for help in finding her “baby”.

Noah Donohoe, 14, vanished on Sunday evening and since then hundreds of people including family, friends and community groups have been searching the streets of North Belfast where he was last spotted.

His mum Fiona and aunts Shona and Niamh joined Supt Muir Clark yesterday as he made the urgent appeal.

He said: “Noah left his home in South Belfast on Sunday at approximately 5.30pm on his black Apollo mountain bike. He was wearing a black skateboarding helmet, khaki green North Face jacket, grey sweat shorts with an emblem on one leg, a tie dye blue hoodie, Nike trainers with a bright yellow ‘tick’ and carrying a khaki rucksack.

“Noah was seen on Ormeau Avenue at 5.45pm on Sunday evening. He is then sighted again on Royal Avenue heading towards York Street a short time after.

“Noah was then seen on North Queen Street heading towards the Limestone Road at 5.57pm.

“An eyewitness believes they saw a young male matching Noah’s description fall off his bicycle on Sunday evening, possibly sustaining a head injury, in the vicinity of North Queen Street/york Street but we do not know the specific time. We believe Noah got back on his bicycle, cycling into Northwood Road where he then abandons all his clothing, as he is seen a short time later cycling while naked.

“We believe Noah then dropped his bicycle and left the area on foot.

“Despite a significant search operation involving local and specialist officers, specialist police dogs, our air support unit, assistance from community search and rescue colleagues and the public, there have been no further confirmed sightings of Noah since 6.11pm on Sunday.

“So far, we have recovered Noah’s black crash helmet, black Nike trainers with yellow tick, blue tie dye hoodie, bicycle and mobile phone. We have not yet found a green khaki North Face coat, grey sweat shorts and a green backpack containing a Lenova laptop.”

Noah’s mum also issued an appeal for the public’s help on social media yesterday, thanking those who have joined the searches.

She said: “I am so overwhelmed by the support of people coming together to help find my son.

“It is actually giving me and my family the strength to fight for him to be found.

“I just wish at this stage people would start offering for their houses to be searched so that shelter could be

If it was your child, I’d let them search my home
