Rapper Kanye’s White House bid rumoured to be over after 10 days

For the fate of campaign for President has been thrown into turmoil after just 10 days.

The rapper, 43, had announced his candidacy for leader of the free world on July 4, Independence Day in the United States – via favourite method of communication: Twitter.

The star, also known as Yeezus, wrote: “We must now realise the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States! #2020VISION.”

However, yesterday that vision was already getting cloudy – as campaign team member

hired to help Kanye get on the ballot in Florida and South Carolina, told US reporters the star was now out of the race. When floppy-fringed blond puppy watching his hair twin Boris Johnson on TV.

The biggest smile of the night though came courtesy of whichever wag in the editing department decided to outdo Homes Under The Hammer in the “most apt choice of background song” stakes.

As Paul waved off bichon frise pup Bobby for the special surgical procedure that many young male dogs must have done, guess which song was playing? The First Cut Is The Deepest by PP Arnold!

NB: Bobby was perfectly fine afterwards. asked to elaborate, he told New York Magazine: “I’ll let you know what I know once I get all our stuff cancelled. We had over 180 people out there today.

“I have nothing good or bad to say about Kanye.”

If confirmed, it will have been an incredibly short campaign for the 21-time Grammy winner turned Sunday Service Church founder.

Kanye reps did not return requests for comment last night.

But there were some signs he’s not given up just yet, after reports he’d just filed one of two mandatory forms with the Federal Electoral Commission. A recent poll meanwhile suggested pro-life anti-vaxxer Kanye would get 2% of the vote. It might not stack up to Democrat

48% and Republican Trump’s 39%, but with around 153 million registered voters in the US, that still means a potential three million want to usher in the age of President Yeezus and First Lady

Wow.

?? ?? It’s the latest social media fad. But Take That’s Gary Barlow wasn’t too chuffed that the kids are calling Tiktok, TT.
Why? Because that’s been the band’s nickname since they burst onto the scene with Take That And Party in 1992.
As the Chinese app has now got 800 million users worldwide, Gary, Mark Owen and Howard Donald decided to join the fun.
In his first message yesterday, Gary said: “There was a time when TT meant one thing, Take That. But there’s a new kid in town.” The band has 24,000 followers, a long way behind the app’s most popular star, Charli D’amelio, the US 16-year-old with 41.4m.
And she was just one when the band in 2005. Ouch.
