BIELSA CALM IN LEEDS STORM

- Leeds Barnsley BY DAVID ANDERSON

MARCELO BIELSA is keeping calm as Leeds close in on promotion. Leeds are storming towards a Premier League return after a 16-year exile on the back of a run of nine wins in 11 games.

But even if they beat Barnsley tonight, Bielsa’s men will need one more point to be sure of going up. The Argentine said: “What I try to do is think about the decisions I have to make.

“The best way to do this is to be calm.

“At the moment the feeling is the same we have had all season. We just try to win every game

“We are not thinking about the consequences if we win this match. The players know how to manage the emotions, which make them stronger and weaker. It’s important to manage these emotions to compete in the right way.”

Bielsa has keeper Kiko Casilla available after serving his eight-match ban for racially abusing Charlton’s Jonathan Leko.

But Illan Meslier has shone in his absence and the French rookie may keep his place.
