LAMPARD IN F-WORD KOP RANT

-

Lampard came when Mateo Kovacic was adjudged to have fouled Sadio Mane on the edge of the Chelsea box with Liverpool leading 1-0.

“How is that a foul?” Lampard shouted, appearing to approach Liverpool boss Klopp before the fourth official intervened.

“Sit down then,” Lampard was heard shouting, with Klopp gesturing to calm down with his arms.

That appeared to make the Blues boss even more irate and he then turned on Lijnders as Klopp continued repeating: “Calm down.”

“If he’s going off at me, I’ll f ***** g say something,” blasted Lampard.

He walked away from the flashpoint, then turned on his heels and got stuck in again.

Addressing Lijnders (above), the Chelsea boss shouted: “It’s not a f ***** g foul, I’m not asking you!”

Klopp, appearing to back his man, screamed back, “Hey!”

“You can f**k off as well,” Lampard appeared to say in response.

“Only league title you’ve ever won and you’re f ***** g giving it the big un’, f**k off.”

With fans absent from the stadium, the exchange between the two benches was clearly audible.

Although officials tried to calm the situation, Lampard remained determined to have the last word, shouting back: “Tell them to have respect, sit down!”

He told Sky Sports afterwards: “I’ve got no problem with Jurgen Klopp, he has managed this team and it is fantastic.

“But some of the bench, it is a fine line between when you are winning and they have won the league, fair play to Liverpool Football Club, but also don’t get too arrogant with it.

“In match play you get emotional and that is it.”
