TRANCE TO RECOVER She is hypnotised

A SCHOOLGIRL SCH who ate just toast and crisps for almost a de decade has finally enjoyed he her first cooked meal – tha thanks to hypnotherapy. Ma Martha Davies, 10, developed her phobia ph of food as a toddler and would wou gag whenever she tried a normal norma family meal.

She e even refused Christmas dinner, i instead eating two slices of toast and an sipping a glass of water.

Mum Julie, 43, spent a small fortune f on bread and crisps and her worried parents feared for their daughter’s health. So they turned to a hypnotherapist in a bid to end Martha’s fear of food, known as neophobia.

Incredibly David Kilmurry “cured” Martha after one twohour session. She immediately began tucking into fruit and veg and even tried her first hot meal – a pizza. Julie, from Coventry, West Mids, said: “Up to 18 months old she ate normally like a baby in a high chair with soft food.

“Then she started screaming and pushing food away. I persevered but it seemed to get worse over time.

“We would go to parties and she would bring Pringles and toast. Those were the only things she ate. It had to be Warburtons blue and it had to be toasted.”

Mr Kilmurry said: “After the session she tucked into fruit and veg and 50 new foods within weeks.”

Martha added: “Now I can’t wait to try different foods. I’ ll still eat toast but I really enjoyed trying chicken nuggets and pasta.”
