TV chef P Phil Vickery has landed a major slot o on This Morn Morning... discov discoverin­g Britain Britain’s Best Tart.

Phil, 59, wh who split from wife of 20 years ye Fern Britton in Januar January, said he thought TV bosses bo were joking when t they first posed the idea. He says: “A couple of we weeks ago on This Morning I did an almond tart. Phillip Schofiel Schofield and Holly Willoughby loved it. “On the back of that, I w was asked by my bosses, ‘We’d like you to do a thing on Britain’s traditiona­l tarts’ to which I laughed at first and then they the explained, ‘The culinary version’.”
