Ulster Jamie and co-star Emily mocked over their Irish accents
JAMIE Dornan and Emily Blunt have been hilariously mocked on social media for their Irish accents in the new movie Wild Mountain Thyme.
There was certainly no holding back when the trailer for the new film, described as a romantic Irish tale, dropped on Tuesday.
Emily and Jamie portray neighbouring farmers, Anthony and Rosemary, who pursue a romance set amid the picturesque landscapes of rural Ireland.
Christopher Walken and Jon Hamm also join the star-studded cast, and yet no-one appears to have nailed the correct accent, according to Twitter critics.
Jamie, who actually hails from Co Down, appeared to be in the firing line and was already trending on Twitter yesterday. One bemused fan wrote: “How in Christ’s name is Jamie Dornan’s Irish accent the worst one??
Another said: “I am only managing about ten seconds of the Wild Mountain Thyme trailer per attempt and my thoughts and prayers are with all actual Irish people at this difficult time.” Other

Filming began in Crossmolina, Co Mayo, in September last year.
Most of the actors stayed in the county for the duration of the shoot. The film is set for initial release on December 11.
