I’m A Celeb star tells of Prince Edward romance
I’M A Celebrity star Ruthie Henshall told of “sh*gging in the bedrooms” at Buckingham Palace as she opened up about her one-time relationship with Prince Edward.
The West End musicals star also described drunkenly singing to the Royal Family at Balmoral.
Speaking to Shane Richie about her five-year relationship with Edward in the 90s, Ruthie said: “I genuinely fell in love with him.”
The 53-year-old told how they met when Edward was working for Andrew Lloyd Webber, who offered her the lead in A Star Is Born.
Edward later invited her to his home to watch the film version.
Referring to Shane’s performance of the Lambeth Walk outside Buckingham Palace for the VE Day anniversary, Ruthie told him: “You sang in the gardens, I sh*gged in the bedrooms.”
And speaking about bout a visit to Balmoral, she said: “I don’t remember er a lot... Charles gave me my first m art ini.i.
I had two and I was like, ‘Woah’.” Ruthie told how Princess Margaret also asked her to sing a song from Les Miserables, which she was starring in.
