Man in court on Traveller murder rap ELEPHANTASTIC..

A MAN appeared at a remot e c our t h earin g yesterday where he denied murdering a father of four.

Ni a l l C ox a tt e n d e d Belfast Crown Court via a videolink with Maghaberry Prison.

The 25-year-old, from Co Tyrone, pleaded not guilty to murdering Pat Ward on February 9 last year.

His co-accused Karen Mar i e MCD o n a l d , 3 5 , both of Mccrea Park in Clougher, pleaded not guilty to the same charge when she appeared in court in June.

Th e c o u p l e a re o n remand and awaiting trial.

Traveller Ward, 30, was found dead in an alleyway in the Mccrea Park area last February.

Mr Justice O’hara said that as nothing more could be advanced at this stage, he was listing the case for review on January 22.
