Here’s one to make Trevor Peacock’s Jim Trott get all in a fluster at the parish council meeting.

Because, as seen on page 3, Dawn French’s Vicar of Dibley is back for three episodes. And – ring the bells – she’ll be hitting our screens as early as this Christmas.

Unfortunately, like (I Imagine) Dawn French’s dinner portions when she shed 7st, these helping are now only bite-size – at 10 minutes each.

C’mon BBC, there’s a bigger appetite for it than that.
