MY AMAZING ARTWORK

Art comes in all shapes and sizes and doesn’t have to hang in a grand gallery, like these drawings from family photos by Joan Rhodes in Chesterfield, Derbys.

The 65-year-old who lives with Dennis, her husband of 39 years, says: “I have always drawn all my life and love to draw family photos as I think they catch such an important moment in time.

“I like to add quirky touches to them with butterflies, owls, bees and sometimes leprechauns. Here are some memories of our new home, my granddaughter Katie as the rose petal bridesmaid at my daughter Catherine’s wedding, and one of my Auntie Mary’s farm in Tipperary.”
