ULSTER SF FINAL
OUR VERDICT: Cork
CAVAN v DONEGAL (RTE/BBC)
Tomorrow, Athletic Grounds, 4pm DONEGAL bid for a first ever Ulster three-in-a-row, a feat last achieved by Armagh in 2004-06. Before that, you’d have to go back to Down’s pioneering team of 1959-61.
Unlike their successes in the last two years, Donegal would return to the All-ireland semifinal with a win this time after a six-year wait rather than facing a convoluted round robin phase.
Cavan have shown terrific grit to reach a second successive final for the first time in 51 years but Donegal are a class apart in Ulster right now and will expose any weariness in Mickey Graham’s charges
OUR VERDICT: Donegal
