LET’S GIVE IT A LASH

-

ASH TAYLOR has vowed to end Rangers’ unbeaten record and show Aberdeen can compete with them – not only for 90 minutes but over a whole season.

The Dons head to Ibrox tomorrow looking to show they are a different proposition to the side who were pushed aside on the opening day.

Since then Aberdeen have looked a different proposition and before the international break they moved back into third place.

The big defender said: “That has always been our aim since

I’ve been at this club. We want to push them as much as we can.

“We know how good a squad we have and we know on our day that we can give them a good game and win.

“You have to go down there and compete. Over the course of the season we will drop points but it is more pleasing to go down there and take the points back up the road.

“That would stand us in good stead.”
