WYCOMBE BRENTFORD Championship: 3pm
GARETH AINSWORTH is fighting fit to lead Wycombe’s survival bid - after telling how he was carted off in an ambulance last month.
The Chairboys chief has missed the last three games after severe back pain n led him to call 999 from his Berkshire home.
Ainsworth (right) went on to have emergency surgery and that meant No.2 Richard Dobson took charge. But Ainsworth – who saw his struggling side earn six points in the absence – returns to the dugout today.
He said: “I was semi-paralysed, it was quite serious. It was a combination of playing over 600 games and getting on a bit.”
