Heskin injury setback

ADRIAN HESKIN is aiming for a Christmas comeback after breaking his arm in a fall at Market Rasen on Thursday.

The 28-year-old, who suffered the injury when unseated from Dadsintrouble in the Pertemps Network Handicap Hurdle at the Lincolnshire track, will undergo surgery today. Heskin, who will be replaced by Jonjo O’neill jnr (left) aboard boss Max Mcneill’s Keeper Hill in the Betfair Chase at Haydock today, said: “It’s bad timing, but I’ve got great support.

“It’s a question of staying positive and getting through it.

“We’ve been here before, and I hope to be back to ride at Christmas.”
