GORDON Ramsay has revealed that his wife Tana wants to try for a sixth kid amid the new lockdown.

The Ramsays welcomed son Oscar two years ago and recently took on a troublesome new puppy, Truffle.

Gordon, 54, told US TV host Jimmy Fallon: “Tana is asking for a sixth across the lockdown because literally two hours ago our Prime Minister has announced we are in lockdown now until the frigging 15th of February. So she said we have good news ‘you are up late talking to Jimmy. Tomorrow night we go for number six!’.”

But the TV chef revealed the family is struggling with their French bulldog after taking him in last autumn. He added: “Oh my goodness he has been a mess, and he is still going through that period of being house trained. You can always tell when the dog s**ts because the smell rises and even before you open the bedroom door in the morning you think ‘Oh my God’. It used to be gravy. Now it is dog s**t.”

Gordon turned the air blue about British people dressing up their dogs for

Christmas: “You should see some of the ridiculous coats. I saw one with initials and date of birth on it, with Christmas tree lights all the way to the end of the tail. What the f*** is happening putting Christmas tree lights on a dog?”

Unless they have another child, Gordon’s hopes of passing on the family business rest with Oscar. He said: “Oscar is my last hope of getting anyone into the industry. Everyone has left the nest and nobody wants to cook.”
