LEAGUE ONE strugglers Northampton and Bristol Rovers are both looking for new managers.

Former Manchester City and England defender Keith Curle was axed by the Cobblers, who lie second bottom.

Curle (left) took them up last year, but chairman Kelvin Thomas said: “Our results and lack of goals have left us in a very difficult position.”

Rovers sacked Paul Tisdale after less than three months in charge.

The club are only above the drop zone on goal difference.

Director of football Tommy Widdrington will take temporary charge assisted by Jack Mesure and Kevin Maher.

HARRY MAGUIRE says Manchester United’s players are on a mission to land a first trophy under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

United needed extra time to beat West Ham 1-0 at home on Tuesday and book their FA Cup quarter-final place for a seventh year running. Last season, Solskjaer’s men suffered triple semi-final heartbreak, going out in the last four in the FA Cup, EFL Cup and Europa League.

Skipper Maguire (right) said: “We demand we win trophies and it’s vital the team starts winning, for the club and the fans as well.”
