TRYING TO AVOID A XISCO INFERNO

XISCO MUNOZ claims he is not feeling the pressure at Watford – although the vultures are circling after just nine games in charge.

The Hornets have slipped seven points off the automatic promotion places during a mini-slump, which has seen the Spaniard’s side take two points and one goal from their last three games.

Another slip-up at home to Bristol City today would leave him on thin ice, but Munoz (above) insisted: “For me, from the day I arrived, I knew what Watford wanted, I knew about the Championship.

“We need to improve. We need to get better every day. We need more power, we need to play better, we need to give more chances. But this is our job.

“We have 18 games to achieve our objective and, right now, I don’t think about how many of them we need to win. I just focus on the next game and the most important thing is to stay together.”

Ed Upson (hamstring) could return for Bristol Rovers but Abu Ogogo (thigh) is out. Swindon are without Conor Masterton (hamstring).

CCTV cameras are to be installed in every racecourse stable yard in Ireland as part of a range of new anti-doping measures to be introduced.

Leopardstown is currently the only one of the 26 tracks to have such equipment, a statistic which has come into

wider focus following the recent high-profile case involving trainer Charles Byrnes (right).

The Horse Racing Ireland board said it will provide funding for the installation at every racecourse, with tender documents to be published shortly by the IHRB.

In announcing a zero-tolerance regime, HRI intends to sample 4,000
