ADAM MCCALLUM took centre stage as Portadown put on another late, late show to secure a dramatic share of the spoils with Cliftonville at Shamrock Park.

Mccallum headed home a

Ben Tilney corner in the 90th minute to level after Rory Hale had fired the Reds into a 1-0 lead on the hour mark.

It was the second time in five days that the Ports struck late to salvage a result following

Lee Bonis’ 89th minute equaliser against Larne last

Tuesday. Boss Matthew Tipton (right) said: “The fact we have shown the character to come from behind to secure a draw in each of our last three games is pleasing.

“It was a tough game in windy conditions so it probably wasn’t a great spectacle, but it was another hard-earned point coming from behind.”

Saturday’s games between Ballymena and Linfield, Glentoran and Coleraine and Warrenpoint Town and Glenavon were all postponed due to frozen pitches.

GREG TAYLOR admits his team-mates are working hard to be part of the club’s future.

Player personnel changes are likely in the summer and boss Neil Lennon admits the plans are already being drawn up.

And full-back Taylor (left with Shane Duffy yesterday) said: “Every season and every game is an opportunity to impress and do the club proud, so every game we aim to get the three points.

“We’ve won so many trophies domestically in a row and we’ve got a massive fight on our hands this season. You can’t ever rest on your laurels and that’s shown this season.”

Taylor helped set up Odsonne Edoaurd’s winner in Perth and he said: “We can still improve but this was another positive. The confidence is growing and winning does that.

“There’s a good winning mentality inside the dressing room and certainly coming back from a goal down here was good, so we’re pleased.

“We can’t give anything up without a fight and it’s onto Wednesday against Aberdeen.”
