FRAZZLED parents are turning to This Morning’s Holly and Phil to survive home-schooling.

More than two million people have downloaded the show’s app, which boasts The Homeschooling Club, a support group for mums and dads.

Some 14,000 signed up for it on Facebook in a matter of days, to receive a helping hand with time management, quick lunch ideas and ways of de-stressing when the bell rings at the end of the day.

“pupils” as the club’s “Star of the Week”, should they have earned it.

A source said: “The uptake has been amazing from parents stuck at home who are at their wits’ end. Holly

knows how hard it is juggling homeschooling and work so she is delighted they could try to give something back.”

Show bosses, who are already enjoying their best ratings in 19 years, are also upping the number of items about cooking, health and home interiors as habits change in lockdown.

Editor Martin Frizell said: “It’s important to listen to your audience and recognise their needs.

“It was clear people wanted to see some brighter and happier scenes on screen but also with their daily habits at home changing, we realised items about cooking, health and home interiors needed to increase too.

“And I’m delighted to add some new and well-known talent to our This Morning family roster of experts.”

They include chefs Joseph Denisoncarey, Clodagh Mckenna and Nisha Katona and interior experts Laurence Llewelyn-bowen and Kelly Hoppen.
