ECO

We’re all trying to cut down on single-use plastic so give your laundry a planetfriendly makeover with an Ecoegg Laundry Egg, £9.99 (ecoegg.com), which replaces washing liquid and fabric conditioner. Each egg lasts for 70 washes and can be refilled. They are free from chemicals and suitable for people with allergies too.

EAT

Healthy snacks don’t have to be boring. Try Nairn’s new spicy oat cakes for an alternative to your mid-morning biscuit. Choose from Periperi Spicy and Cheese and Smoky Chipotle, £1.40, from Asda or Morrisons.

WELLBEING

There have been multiple reports about how much children’s mental health has been affected by the pandemic. So if you’re concerned about your little one, this Don’t Worry, Be Happy workbook (Vie, £10.99, amazon.co.uk) could help. It’s packed with practical tips and fun activities designed to help seven to 11-year-olds understand and deal with anxiety.

STYLE

Getting the right fit of trousers is a challenge when shops are still closed. Spoke Menswear has created a clever quiz to ensure a perfect fit every time, asking everything from wrist size to how often you wear skinny jeans. We love these stone blue chinos, £79 (spokelondon.com).

COOK

Get children into the kitchen with the new Carr’s Kids range. Just add water to the Really Easy Bread Mix, 95p, and butter to the Biscuit Mix, 95p, and you will be enjoying delicious baked treats in next to no time. Visit carrsflour.co.uk for more information.

In reply to the woman who’s upset because she can’t have a big wedding reception – grow up! (Dear Coleen, February 15).

It seems wearing your wedding dress and having a big party means more than spending the rest of your life with someone who wants to be with you.

When Covid-19 is over you can always do the whole thing again in a bigger way, but it’s shocking to accuse your fiancé of wanting to save money when, actually, he’s doing the right thing. William, Aberdeen

LIFE STORIES

ITV, 9pm

According to the humble host himself, tonight’s episode features the “most powerful moment ever” in the chat show’s history.

Telling his life story is former boxer Chris Eubank, once the middleweight and supermiddleweight champion of the world, who went on to become one of the most famous and recognisable figures in British pop culture, appearing on the likes of I’m A

Celebrity, Celebrity Big Brother and Celebrity Gogglebox.

A bona fide eccentric, Chris is famous for his snazzy suits, crazy cars, wearing a monocle and becoming a US police marshal.

He discusses all of this with Piers, as well as bankruptcy, divorce, the many titles he won, and his son Christopher’s boxing career.

However, it’s when he talks about the 1991 fight which left his rival Michael Watson in a coma and suffering severe physical and mental disabilities that things get seriously emotional and powerful.
