TECH

Missing live gigs? Rock ’n’ roll speaker brand Marshall has launched new in-ear headphones that promise to mimic that justin-front-of-the-stage sound. Mode II earphones, £159.99 (marshall.com) have 25 hours of playtime and you can adjust the EQ settings for a bassy or brighter sound.

DRINK

If you live for that first cup of coffee in the morning, you’ll love the Balance Coffee subscription, from £8.50, which sees delicious and unusual beans or freshly ground coffee delivered straight to your door. The company’s website, balancecoffee.co.uk, is full of useful tips on how to make the perfect cup too.

EAT

We love sustainable children’s brand Play in Choc, not only because of its eco-friendly credentials and entirely recyclable packaging, but also because each box, £2.50 (playinchoc.com), contains two dairy-free chocolate treats and a miniature cardboard animal puzzle. Don’t miss the Easter-themed rabbit boxes.

BAKE

If you’re missing the Great British Bake Off, sign up for the new GBBO baking box (£19.99, bakeoffbox.co.uk). Each month you receive a recipe, such as one for these delicious lemon slices, all the dry ingredients plus a collectable piece of baking equipment. And 50p from each box goes to Stand Up to Cancer.

PAMPER

Magnesium is known for its relaxing and sleep-enhancing qualities, so adding a handful of Sanctuary Spa De-stress Bath Salts with Magnesium, £8 (boots.com), to the tub before bed could be just the thing to help you drop off.

The reflections of the pretty pastel quayside houses in the still waters of Pembroke Mill Pond have been captured by Lee Levesley in Pembrokeshire,

West Wales.

The 67-year-old widow says: “One fine sunny day I took my lockdown walk around Pembroke Castle and Mill Pond, and was struck by the mirror image reflections in the water of the houses along the shoreline.“

She adds: “I took the photo on my iphone and I was really pleased to see how it came out. It also made me ‘reflect’ on how fortunate I am to live within walking distance of this beautiful spot.”

If you are an amateur photographer or artist and you’d like your work to hang in our gallery, send your work, a selfie, your age and location to siobhan.mcnally@mirror.co.uk, and tell us what inspires you.
