18-1, 7-1 and 11-2

- STEVE JONES with THREE top tips

STEVE JONES was bang on the money in Value Scope last Saturday when all three of his selections returned in profit.

His headline tip SWITCH HITTER (right) smashed his rivals for six at Kempton at 11-2, while at

Uttoxeter SAINT DALINA took the opening race at 4-1, having been recommended at 7s, and BRIANSTORM rewarded each-way backers by finishing second at

18-1 in the next race on the card.

See who Steve is tipping today.

LET’S go Trophy hunting today with EMARAATY ANA (3.45).

The five-year-old speedster, trained by Kevin Ryan (below), looks a good bet in the Cammidge Trophy.

He won the Group 2 Gimcrack at York as a two-year-old and hasn’t really hit the heights he promised, but there are reasons to keep the faith.

His best run of last season was when third behind subsequent July Cup hero Oxted on his first start of the year. He’s also been gelded and had a breathing operation since last term.

Emaraaty Ana could easily prove better than this Listed grade in 2021, so have 2pts to win at

8-1.

The Unibet Lincoln is the big betting race of the day but, unusually for a big-field handicap, there doesn’t look much pace in the race. Ouzo is my pick in a tricky race but I’m more interested in the Unibet Spring Mile, the consolation race for horses that didn’t get into the Lincoln.

There’s a stack of pace in this race and most of it is drawn high. That should help ANYTHINGTODAY (2.35).

He generally runs over further but, on his penultimate run last season, he had enough speed to go the early gallop when seventh in the Cambridgeshire.

There’s every chance Roger Fell’s runner will be in the right place to strike and he is potentially well treated on a mark of 91.

Have 1pt each-way at 22-1 with Sky Bet, who are paying out on seven places.

SPACE TRAVELLER

(2.00) looks on a different planet in the Unibet Doncaster Mile as the turf Flat season takes off.

Yorkshire trainer Richard Fahey often does well at this annual curtainraiser meeting and he looks to have a fine chance of landing this Listed prize for the second time.

The ground has come right for Space Traveller as he likes a decent surface.

He beat top-class Space Blues in the Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot a couple of years ago and then went on to land a Group 2 in Ireland.

His only run last season came when sixth behind Circus Maximus in the Group 1 Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot.

That was even better than the bare form as he had the worst draw.

He’s clearly had his problems but Fahey generally has his horses ready to rock early on in the season so fitness shouldn’t be too much of a worry.

Have 1pt to win at 13-2.
