I buried another body.. but it’s up to the police to find it

Serial killer Tobin’s sick boast

EVIL Peter Tobin has made an astonishing confession from his sick bed to a prison pal, declaring: “Police haven’t found another body I buried in Scotland.”

The serial killer, who continues to battle cancer, made the revelation during a chat with another prisoner.

He is serving three life sentences for killing three young girls between 1991 and 2006.

Tobin butchered Angelika Kluk, 23, Vicky Hamilton, 15, and 18-year-old Dinah Mcnicol – but has also been linked to a string of unsolved deaths across Britain.

He was convicted of Vicky’s murder after DNA was found on a knife discovered in his former Bathgate home.

But no bodies have been discovered in West Lothian linked to him.

Now he has told a fellow con he has buried another unknown victim in the area.

The source, who revealed he has been left with nightmares following Tobin’s prison chats, said: “I asked him if he thought that morally it was the right thing to do and tell the families but he said no, it wasn’t up to him, it was up to the police to find them.

“He said there were numerous attack victims who haven’t come forward and he doesn’t know why but he really doesn’t care.

“He is evil personified. He said he doesn’t have long left and is writing a diary detailing all his crimes. Who he’s writing that for I don’t know but he has a warped mind that’s for sure.

“He refused to be drawn on the body issue any further except to say one was a young girl and she’s buried in the garden of one of his rented houses in West Lothian. He said the police missed it.”

Tobin is known to have been linked to at least 30 addresses across the UK, including homes in West Lothian and southern England.

He also spent time in homeless hostels in Edinburgh.

Two former homes are known to have been dug up in the search for victims and include the property where Vicky and Dinah were found in Kent.

Earlier this month it was revealed Tobin, who has a history of faking illness, told another pal he wasn’t Bible John.

He was reported to have said: “People just think I am but I’m not. It wasn’t me. Nothing to do with me. I didn’t kill them.”

It was the first time Tobin had spoken about the rumours he is the infamous serial killer who kept Glasgow in a state of fear after the deaths of Patricia

Docker, 25, Jemima Mcdonald, 32, and 29-year-old Helen Puttock in 1968 and 1969.

Prison insiders said the 73-year-old is reclusive and rarely ventures outside of his cell but is desperate for someone to talk to. One added: “I thought maybe he was feeling remorseful given that he says he is dying but there’s not a shred of decency in him.

“What he has said will haunt me for the rest of his life.

“He said stuff that turned my stomach. He’s an evil old man. He’s told anyone who will listen details about his crimes. He thinks he’s untouchable by the police now. “I hope they speak to him but he will probably clam up and laugh about it all. He seems to get his kicks from that.”

Tobin, who once pretended to be dead behind bars, has been in and out of hospital with suspected strokes and heart attacks.

Police have long suspected he killed many more young women but he won’t admit his guilt. He has told detectives he “couldn’t give a f**k” about his victims’ families.
