NERVOUS Lance Martin

THIS is what you call living on the edge, but Lance Martin really wishes his home was less of a cliffhanger.

Stormy weather last weekend washed away 2m of the dunes, leaving his

French doors just 6m from the cliff edge.

Lance, 63, moved the house in Hemsby, Norfolk, 10m back when the council evicted all his neighbours after the 2018 Beast from the East washed away 30m of cliff. When he bought the house in 2017 he could not even see the sea, but may now have to move it again.

He said: “I’ve made a stand here that I intend to keep on going as long as physically and mentally possible.”

PADDY Mcguinness says he is considering a hair transplant – after seeing the quality of pal Jimmy Carr’s makeover up close.

They have been working on a BBC series and Paddy, 47, said of hair transplants: “The best one I have seen in the flesh – it was that good I thought to myself, ‘I’m going to get that done’, I got the number of the surgeon – it was Jimmy Carr.

“It’s unbelievable, his hair is like an otter’s pelt. He said this fella he used doesn’t advertise, doesn’t do any of that, he’s under the radar. I looked at it and I was like, ‘Now that is proper!’. Get it done when no one realises you need it. That’s when they work the best.” Speaking on the Two Pints of Lager podcast, he added: “If you’re totally bald and you come into work the next day with eight pubes on your head, what’s that?!

“But if you’ve got a decent head of hair but you’re losing a bit on top, I know a few lads who have a good set of hair and work in the business, and I was surprised they’d had a hair transplant, you’d never question it, their hair just looks really good.

“Do it before you’ve got to the full-on bald stage.”

The Take Me Out star, known for his catchphrases such as “let the pina see the colada” hit the headlines when he bleached his hair blond in April last year.

At the time he said: “I attempted it after speaking to numerous professional colourists in the auld hair game. I also watched far too many Youtube tutorials.”

In 2015 fans commented on his thinning hair when he was on Coronation Street.

Paddy will be on screen with Jimmy in new Saturday night show I Can See Your Voice this weekend. With a £10,000 prize, players will try to weed out bad singers from the good without hearing them sing.
